Authorhood - here it comes!
Hello again! Between a crazy busy stretch at my day job and writing at night, I feel like I sometimes have two jobs. Well, I guess I do. :-) And now, I'm on the verge of something I'm still trying to wrap my head around. On September 18, 2015, my first novel, Quite The Catch, is released! I am very excited, as you might guess. It's been a whirlwind of "Oh my God, they want my story!", filling out forms, editing the story (three times!), and now finally seeing this cover ...

Time to get writing again
My day job has been relentless as a time-consumer of late, but I feel a corner has been turned. One project passed its last major milestone and is just about done. More time for my passion, writing.
But what to write?
Something new? I do have some ideas barely begun, including one that I could describe as a Rocky-like theme set in the surfing world of Oahu's north shore. Or I could go back to a time travel between New York City and Macchu Pichu.
Or maybe something further along? I do have one about a modern Apache woman in Santa Fe about to end it all when she is literally pulled back from the edge by a photographer/art gallery owner.
My creative streak usually flares up when something external sparks it. Hmmm, now what might that be??? I'll let you know.

A rainy Sunday
It's a chilly rainy day here, so it seems like a good time to post again. Things are moving along behind the scenes, and I'm doing some of my own marketing. If the remarks of some of my co-workers indicate anything, I think my story, Quite The Catch, will be well received when it's released. Don't know yet when that will be, but I'll pass on any info as I get it.
Now, with a hot cup of joe, I think I'll do some more writing today ...

What Have I Gotten Myself Into?
I'm creative. I looked for an outlet. A friend asked me to read a bit of historical romance she wrote. I read it, and I got the writing bug. Never wrote outside of school. Never even had the desire to write ... until then. Now, I'm on the verge of becoming a published author. Please forgive my language, but ... holy crap! Now what? I have soooo much to do before that happens. This blog is part of that, so I hope you'll stick around as I move to become a published author. Cheers!
